The Western Development Museum in Saskatoon, is a great place to bring your family. Kids find the town atmosphere exhilarating and it is fun sharing your own versions of what a family may have experienced back in 1910. It also reminds us to appreciate modern amenities and our ever booming convenience and technology breakthroughs.

The perfect place to spend some time in the winter months. Boomtown has cool houses for you and your kids to walk through, cars that you will rarely see anywhere else, and culture to explore. Whether you want to teach your kids a little something, learn a little something yourself, or ponder your thoughts as you stroll through time, it’s a great place to check out!

They are open January-March, Tuesday to Sunday 9am-5pm and April to December, Monday to Sunday 9am-5pm. WDM is closed on the regular statutory holidays. They charge a family rate of $18.50, with children under 5 being free and adults $8.50 individually. They also have lower rates for children, seniors and students (with ID) Put it on your Saskatoon To do List!
